I am committed to protecting all of my clients in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). Currently the UK Government is drafting the UK Data Protection Bill, and this privacy notice will be updated to comply with this when it comes into effect.
This section aims to tell you how I will collect your information, what it is used for and how it will be stored during your relationship with myself (Rosa Mackenzie, of Mums&More Physiotherapy).
I pay an annual fee to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) to maintain registration. This policy is effective from 04/10/2024.

How your data is collected
Via the Website
Your data will be collected via cookies from the website host, Wix.
Data will be collected as Cookies (if you accept), and will provide information on the performance of the website. Therefore your data may also be stored by Wix as the website provider.

Personal data (Name, phone number, email and what service is booked) is submitted via the website as a booking or enquiry form.
During the Physiotherapy Service
Your personal data will be collected during the physiotherapy service, this data will be securely stored (on the Google Suit platform) and is confidential. This data will be recorded and stored in line with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
What your data is used for
Personal Data Collected Via the Website
Any data collected through Cookies will be used to analyze website performance.
This data gives us information of how long you visited the site for, and which pages you viewed. This is used to make the website more user friendly.
Personal data through the website (name, email, number, service requested) is collected; when you book in, or make an inquiry through the enquiry form.
This data will be used by myself to contact you to answer any inquiries you have made.
By booking, or making an enquiry you are consenting to the above data being used for marketing from Mums&More Physiotherapy as a prospective customer (with the option to opt out at any time), and for business analytics (stored securely on the Google Suite platform). Again you may opt out of this at any time, please email rosa@mumsandmorephysio.co.uk.
Any feedback/ review/ testimonial left by users of the service can be used on the website.
Your data will never be sold to a third party company for use for theory own purpose of marketing
Personal data collected in the Physiotherapy Service
As previously noted your personal data collected during the physiotherapy service will be collected in line with HCPC standards.
By booking and attending a physiotherapy service with Rosa Mackenzie of Mums&More Physiotherapy you are consenting to this following data collection and storage policy. The data collected during the physiotherapy service is used to provide high quality continuous care, and also to ensure we can keep you safe.
This data will be recorded within 24 hours of the appointment and will be stored securely in a password protected folder in a google business suit secure account.
The information collected will be relevant to the service I am offering, and stored for 7 years after the conclusion of treatment, at which point it will be erased.
The data may be shared with an appropriate service if this is in line with the Data Sharing Policy, for example, a lawyer if legal action is required, GP/ medical staff if there is an immediate threat to safety to yourself, or the police, if criminal or terrorist activity is reported - otherwise this data is confidential.

Right of Access - you have the right to request any information we have about yourself. This will be completed within 14 days of request.
Right to Rectification - you have the right to rectify any personal information we hold about yourself that you think is inaccurate.
